Latest News!
Hi Everyone,
I have just finished writing our 2011 Annual Report and it looks amazing – so much has been achieved in the year,
both in Australia and overseas. We have all worked so hard and I know 2012 will be just as productive and satisfying.
Take a look at the quantities of items we have produced and distributed since 2008 TKW Achievements 2008-2011
Our latest newletter is available, which gives full details of all our recent activities:
Edition11 V1 2012. Here's a quick summary:
- Our visit to India included donating frisbees, skipping ropes and money to assist with the running costs of the two schools we support. St. Peter's Orphanage in Northern India also received a posted parcel of all things warm.
- Deliveries made to soup kitchen and trauma teddies
- Orthando Doll Book is available at my house if you are interested in browsing the wonderful photos of dolls, doll-makers, puppets and chiildren with dolls - it is truly inspiring
- If you, or anyone you know is going to Bali this year, please let us know as we are relying on travellers to deliver goods to the Birthing Centre
Thanks, and keep those donations coming, as we very quickly find worthy homes for all donated goods.
Julie.
What you can do
| Items Most Wanted - Needed Now | Items Always Needed
|
|---|
| material | bras | sewing machines | school supplies

Also, take a look at the following list for ideas on how to help:
- Are you a good knitter? Or do you have a supply of wool that we could use?
Do you have something that we could sell in a garage sale or donate to a refuge or school
in a developing country?
- Do you have any formal wear appropriate for young girls to attend school formals or make their debut?
- Alternatively, donations of money can be used to pay for postage which we have found to be quite costly
I have plenty of wool on hand if anyone is keen to get knitting.
Send me an email (see the contact us page) to let us know of your donation, or if you would like some wool.
